a song to remember

After watching Evan S. Perry's documentary, I felt like i needed to do something about it.
For the people like Evan, with Bipolar Disorder, depression...

So I wrote "a song to remember". To remember Evan, his family, other families like the Perry.

Here are the lyrics:

the story behind "love"

Recently I saw the Evan Scott Perry's documentary: Boy Interrupted.

"Evan Scott Perry had bipolar disorder. His parents battled to save him from himself. Evan Perry started talking about death even when he was still in kindergarten. His mother, Dana Perry, couldn’t believe her young son Evan could be suicidal. Sometimes, when Evan Perry was enacting the different ways he could be dying, Dana Perry used her camera to take pictures to record proof of his suicidal tendencies.

When Evan Scott Perry was 15, he committed suicide. Perry has asked to be freed from taking his medication for a trial. Perry was secretive as he prepared to die. He typed out his suicide note and finally killed himself."

That's the reason why I support TWLOHA. To help people like Evan. People dealing with depression, suicidal thoughts, self-injury, drug abuse, mental disorders (which are like cancer) and the list goes on. 

Two Write Love On Her Arms "began as an attempt to tell a story and a way to help a friend. Today, TWLOHA, is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly intro treatment and recovery." 

I believe that love is the answer. Love is the movement. Because hope is real and help is possible...
